Birthday: Soludo Celebrates Obiano, Ngige, Hails Contributions To Anambra

Anambra State Governor, Prof. Chukwuma Charles Soludo, has congratulated former governors Willie Maduaburochukwu Obiano and Dr. Chris Nwabueze Ngige on their birthdays, describing them as worthy sons of Anambra State whose contributions to the development of the state and the nation remain significant.

In separate congratulatory messages issued on Saturday by his Chief Press Secretary, Christian Aburime, Governor Soludo acknowledged the roles played by both former governors in the political and developmental history of Anambra State.

Congratulating Obiano, Soludo recalled his eight-year tenure as Governor of Anambra, noting that his administration introduced initiatives that contributed to the progressive development of the state.

The governor also commended Obiano’s investments in infrastructure and other areas of development, describing him as a worthy patriot who deserved to be celebrated on the occasion of his birthday.

Soludo wished the former governor sustained good health, joy and many more years of a fulfilled life.

Similarly, the governor felicitated former Governor Chris Ngige, recalling his contributions to Anambra during a formative and challenging period in the state’s political history.

Soludo noted Ngige’s emphasis on discipline in public administration and his efforts towards infrastructural development during his tenure as governor.

He also acknowledged Ngige’s subsequent service to Anambra and Nigeria, including his representation of Anambra Central in the Senate and his service as Minister of Labour and Employment.

Governor Soludo wished Ngige a memorable birthday celebration, robust health, continued wisdom and God’s abundant blessings in the years ahead.
