Delta Central: Dema Drops Happy New Month Message, Seeks Support Ahead Of 2027 Campaigns

The Labour Party candidate for Delta Central Senatorial District, Mrs. Onome Bernice Dema, has extended warm greetings to the people of the district as they usher in the month of August, while calling for their support ahead of the commencement of campaigns for the 2027 General Elections.

In her Happy New Month message, Dema prayed for God’s blessings, good health, peace, progress, and prosperity for every family across Delta Central. She also prayed for divine wisdom, strength, and courage for the people to overcome challenges and maximize the opportunities the new month presents.

She noted that August holds special significance for Nigeria’s democracy, recalling that, in line with the timetable released by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), campaigns for the 2027 General Elections are scheduled to officially begin on August 19, 2026.

Against this backdrop, the Labour Party senatorial candidate appealed to residents of Delta Central to support her aspiration, while also seeking their prayers and active participation throughout the electioneering process.

Dema urged the electorate to embrace the ideals of the Labour Party, which she said are anchored on good governance, accountability, justice, inclusive development, and people-centred leadership.
