Former Eku Baptist Government Hospital MD, Agboloje Goes Missing By Dafe Rukevwe

The whereabouts of the immediate past Medical Director (MD), Eku Baptist Hospital, Eku in Ethiope East Local Government Area, of Delta State, Dr. Ese Agboloje is yet to be ascertained.

According to information gathered from police sources, yesterday, one Austin Unuse, who can best be described as an orderly to Dr. Ese, left to purchase corn for his boss in Eku, who when he returned, discovered that Dr. Ese and the car they both drove in, a Toyota Venza car with plate number AAD 497 DK, belonging to his boss were nowhere around where he (Unuse) left for the errand.

Police officers who spoke under conditions of anonymity argued that it was premature to call it a kidnap, considering it rather a case of abduction since no call from his captors had been made to any of the family members of Ese.

The police however are presently making frantic efforts to rescue the medical practitioner, combing the bushy areas around Eku.

Dr. Ese is said to have visited his mother yesterday in Abraka from where he left for Eku before he went missing.
