Egboh To Delta Youths: Shun Violence, Key Into Okowa’s Agenda

Hon. (Chief) Victor Egboh, National President, Isoko Youths Ethnic Nationality, Worldwide, and SSA to the Governor on Youth and Community Development has
called on youths in Delta State to shun violence, urging them to key into the agenda of the State Governor, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa.
Speaking to Oasis Magazine (OM) exclusively during a State youth programme in Warri recently, he added that “a state where there is no peace will not experience development.”
He continued: “Today’s youth believes in instant wealth,” saying that “youths must imbibe the attribute of patience and remain steadfast in all their endeavours.”
He said: “For some time, the youths of the state were disorganized until the Okowa administration came on board.
“Key into the Okowa’s prosperity for all Deltans arrangement. The YAGEP programme is to change the lives of the youths,” saying that “many youths in the state were beggarly before Okowa came in as Governor.”
“Your skills will make your life better,” he averred.
According to him, “Isoko people have embraced the Okowa’s SMART Agenda,” noting that with Okowa’s assistance and a little support from DESOPADEC, he has been able to build a skill’s acquisition center that has gotten a total of 300 youths from the street.
He disclosed that “despite all the success stories so far, Okowa is not satisfied and on the Governor’s return from leave, he will commence the third phase of his empowerment programme.”
Adding voice to Hon. Egboh’s call, the Isoko National Youth Assembly, Warri Branch Chairman, Comrade PauL Agbama encouraged youths at home and in the Diaspora to key into the SMART agenda of the Okowa-led government.
