Oruarivie-Abraka Prayer Day For December 1
Oruarivie-Abraka Kingdom in collaboration with Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Abraka Central Chapter, will on the 1st of December, 2017 host the first-of-its-kind ‘Oruarivie-Abraka Prayer Day.’
A statement credited to CAN in the area said: “His Royal Highness would like all pastors, Christians and everyone living and working in the land to be part of this all-important prayer convocation for the peace and prosperity of Abraka Community and the people in it.”
Also, institutions, organisations, markets and business groups were requested to participate.
Oasis Magazine (OM) gathered that in order to carry every church along, a crucial meeting involving all churches and church heads will hold on Monday, 20th November, 2017 at St. Philips Anglican Church, Ekrejeta, Abraka.
CAN in a letter signed by the Ovie of Oruarivie-Abraka Kingdom, HRM Akpomeyoma Ojeta I, the chapter’s CAN Chairman, Rev’d Canon Obed Chukwuka and Secretary, Pastor Robert Ovowoh, stated that “the meeting is compulsory for all church leaders and churches, as failure to attend will be considered as a refusal to join in the peace and progress of the land.”
The theme for the programme: ‘Peace be Still’ will hold at Ojeta Secondary School, Ekrejeta, Abraka.
