Tinubu Has A Short Time To Reconcile Aggrieved APC Members, Shehu Sani Warns

Senator representing Kaduna Central Senatorial district, Shehu Sani, has warned that the national leader of the party, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, appointed by President Muhammadu Buhari to reconcile aggrieved members of the All Progressives Congress, APC, has a short time to accomplish this task.
Responding to questions during a live chat on Channels TV, Sani added that this move would have been made last year, however, saying that the popular quote “that it was better late than never applies here.”
According to him, all attempts to resolve the crisis before now has failed, saying that if it is not addressed this time, many things will happen in the next few weeks.
While praising the choice of Tinubu to head this mission, he noted that nobody qualifies for this task better than Tinubu, who he said has been doing a lot reaching out to aggrieved members.
He said: “The crises are diverse and the most important one that needs to be solved urgently are the ones within the states.”
“We all have our ‘Plan B’. We believe things are not going well and all our suggestions have so far fallen on deaf ears. The presidential intervention is the best option for now.
“We are happy now that the president has agreed that there is a crisis in the party.”
