Osiobe ‘Women In Politics’ Group Flags Off Door-To-Door Campaign

A political pressure group in Delta State, ‘Osiobe Women in Politics’, have flagged off their ‘door-to-door’ campaign in support of one of the governorship aspirants under the platform of All Progressives Congress, APC, Chief Osiobe Okotie.
The group which recently was inaugurated in Warri at Igbudu Primary School, vowed to work tirelessly to ensure that Osiobe becomes the flag bearer for the party and emerge winner at the 2019 polls.
Speaking to Oasis Magazine during an exclusive chat after the event, the State Coordinator, Mrs. Sarah Ruwa said they have started work in full capacity after the inauguration and flag off of the group.
According to her, the group is made up of members from the 25 local government areas in the state to be piloted by 9 executive members and 25 coordinators picked from each of the council areas in the state.
“We will take our door-to-door campaign to every nook and cranny of the state,” she said.
She commended the women for turning out en masse for the programme, saying that they gave their support to Osiobe because of his antecedents.
She added: “Osiobe is a good man and the one that will rescue Delta State since he has a heart for deltans. Deltans are suffering despite our massive resources. Osiobe is the next Governor of Delta State.”
Present at the inauguration were Chief Osiobe Okotie, Bishop Dr. Elijah Lilije and a host of others.
