Presidential/National Assembly Polls: Delta CP Commends Police Officers Over Conduct
By Daniel Dafe
The Commissioner of Police Delta State Command, CP Adeleke Adeyinka, has commended police officers in the command over their conduct during the just concluded Presidential/National Assembly polls, describing their performance as excellent and exemplary.
In a press release signed by ASP Chuks Orisewezie, Acting PPRO, Delta State Command, the Commissioner of Police thanked his men for their bravery in keeping with the challenges of securing the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) materials and officials, facilities and the electorates.
The press statement read in part: “The CP is proud of them for their quick responses to distress calls and intensive patrol that kept the hoodlums away from the polls. He says kudos to them all for the peaceful and successful exercise.”
CP Adeyinka urged officers and men of the command not to relent in their effort, but brace up for the Governorship/State Assembly election slated for March 9, 2019, as he prayed for God to reward them abundantly for their display of strength and courage in the face of danger.
