Nelson Jessa Laid To Rest

The burial rites of Chief Nelson Ovwigho Jessa, the Ibrite Edjenekpo of Oruarivie-Abraka Kingdom has held successfully.

The ceremony which took place today, commenced with an order of ‘Vigil Mass’ and ‘Requiem Mass’ for the deceased at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Abraka, Delta State, as the Parish Priest, Very Rev. Fr. Paul Arinze Obi, alongside Rev. Fr. Isaac Aganbi and Rev. Fr. (Dr.) Joachim Ukutsemuya, were on ground to officiate.

Thereafter, Late Jessa was laid to rest at his residence in Urhuovie and a reception for guests followed at Ogodo Primary School, Urhuovie.

Chief (Ambassador) Harrison Jessa, younger brother to the deceased.
Jessa died at age 66 and is survived by seven children.
