Abba Kyari: Urhobo Youths Mourn, Condole Presidency, Family

The President of Urhobo Progress Union (UPU), the umbrella body for all Urhobo youths, Comrade Efemena Umukoro, has condoled with the presidency and family members over the demise of the Chief of Staff (CoS) to the President, Abba Kyari.
Kyari died on Friday at age 81, The Punch reports.
President’s spokespersons, Garba Shehu and Femi Adesina said the deceased died of COVID-19.
In a press statement signed by Umukoro, the youth body described the news of his passage as shocking and a national loss, noting that he died in active service for the nation.
According to him, no one should play politics with the death of Kyari, adding that he was a gallant soldier and will be greatly missed.
Also, they prayed to that God grants the Kyari family and his loved ones the fortitude to bear the loss, and the administration of Buhari wisdom to continue to engage wisdom to tackle the Coronavirus pandemic that took the life of Kyari.
“We are saddened by the news and we know that the nation mourns,” the statement added. He continued: “In these very trying times, we want to remind the president that Urhobo youths are with him and will continue to do the little they can to move the nation forward.”
