Birthday: UPU Youthwing President Felicitates With PG, Chief Omene

The President of Urhobo Progress Union (UPU), Youthwing, Worldwide, Comrade Efemena Umukoro, has felicitated with the President General (PG) of the parent body, Chief (Engr.) Joe Omene, on the occasion of his birthday anniversary, saying that the PG is an Urhobo icon.
Umukoro in a goodwill message described Omene as a man who has spent his resources and time in the defense of Urhobo interest not minding whose horse is gored.
He added: “Chief Omene is a role model to us and has a name that is synonymous with boldness, integrity, truth, patriotism and generosity.
“I strongly believe that if we had many of his kind, Urhobo Nation will be an Eldorado.”
According to him, Urhobo nation is blessed to have the likes of Omene at a time like this when her enemies are bent on relegating and sidelining Urobo Nation, the fifth largest ethnic group in Nigeria.
“I am a student of his ideologies. He has a self-esteem that intimidates his enemies and inspires his friends. He is a role model to many of us and we hope to meet up with his high standards and records that he has set,” he said.
Umukoro wished the PG more fruitful years of celebration and success, as he assured the Urhobo leader of his continuous loyalty and support whenever the need arises.
