Buhari Says NBA, ‘Crucial Stakeholder’ In Nigeria’s Democracy, Congratulates Akpata

President Muhammadu Buhari has congratulated Olumide Akpata, the new president of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) following his victory at the just concluded election.
The Nigerian leader tweeted his felicitation on his personal Twitter handle on Saturday, August 1, where he noted that the NBA is “a crucial stakeholder” in Nigeria’s democracy.
While wishing Akpata success in his new position, he assured him of his administration’s support.
Legit.ng had reported earlier that after a recent online presidential election, the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) selected a new leader who is not from the rank of senior advocates..

According to reports, Akpata is the first president of the association to emerge from the outer bar in 30 years.
