‘Save The Girl-Child’ Book Review, Public Presentation For Wednesday

Pastor and motivational speaker, Pastor Fidelis Onakpoma, will on Wednesday, August 19 launch his book, ‘Save the Girl-Child).
The event holds at Senior Staff Club Delta State University Site 1, Abraka, at 10 a.m.
The foreword for the book was written by Barr. Bridget Anyafulu.
According to the author, “the book is an awareness literature envisaged to save the girl child by ensuring their safety as well as to stop the crime against girl children.”
He adds that: “The book is well organized on modules to educate, support, and protect the girl child against social vices, gender discrimination, and more also, help to create an improved moral and ethical value amongst young people.”
According to the organizer, the book review will hold alongside his birthday, adding that the “event is a continuation call hinged on Fidelis Onakpoma towards creating persuasive awareness on facts and consequences surrounding violence against women and girls, gender discrimination, female infanticide, genital mutilation, child marriage and foster the responsibility that society has in preventing them.”
Some governmemt officials and a host of other dignitaries are expected to grace the event.
