Operation Delta Sweep Kills Pregnant Woman In Abraka

A yet-to-be identified pregnant woman in Abraka, Ethiope East Local Governrent Area of Delta State has been shot dead by security operatives, Operation Delta Sweep, brought into the community to tackle crime in the area.
Security sources said the said lady was hit by a bullet fired by a military officer in the team who opened fire on a car suspected to belong to a yahoo boy identified as Sheriff.
According to information gathered, the security operative shit at the vehicle after Sheriff failed to stop when he was asked to do so by the security outfit.
The lady who was rushed to the Government Hospital in Eku was confirmed dead by doctors on the ground.

Angry residents in the university town marched to the Divisional Police Station in the community but had to jettison the plan for a showdown with the police when they learnt that they were not responsible for the lady’s death.
