Idjerhe Kingship: Omasoro Is The Ovie-Elect, Says Onowo Family

As part of efforts to maintain peace, unity and purposeful leadership for the growth and development of Idjerhe kingdom, the Onowo family has presented Chief Angus Omasoro as the Ovie – Elect in Idjerhe kingdom.
This decision was the outcome of a world press conference held at the residence of the Ovie- Elect, Omasoro by the Onowo family in Jesse Town, Ethiope West Local Government Ares of Delta State.
The ceremony, witnessed the presence of descendants of Onowo family as they all unanimously agreed and endorsed Omasoro as king, a position zoned to the family after the demise of the previous king in 2018.
Speaking to newsmen, one of Onowo’s descendants and former Chairman of Ethiope West Local government Area, Chief Wilson Odafe Omene confirmed that the family has endorsed Angus Omasoro as the new monarch in Idjerhe Kingdom as he fulfills all requirements for the position.

Chief Omene called on the good people of Idjerhe Kingdom to accept the Onowo candidate for the progress of the kingdom.
He went further to thank the entire Idjerhe kingdom for the peace and maturity shown since the race for who becomes king started.
