Okowa’s Aide, Ugedi Urges Ijaw, Itsekiri In Edo To Vote For Obaseki, PDP
Special Assistant to Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State on Youth Mobilization, Chief David Seikiri Ugedi, has urged all Ijaws and Itsekiri indigenes in Edo State to turn out in their numbers to cast their votes for Governor Godwin Obaseki, his Deputy, Philip Shuaibu and the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
Chief Ugedi gave the charge in Warri recently while lending his voice to the Edo State election, as he appealed to Ijaws and Itsekiri indigenes in Edo state to support PDP come September 19, 2020, stressing that the ruling party in the state is the only hope for the people to witness steady progress of development in Edo State.
The Delta governor’s aide noted that as governor Okowa is the PDP south south governors forum chairman and Edo just the only state that’s yet to be fully taken over, reelecting Obaseki will speak well for Edo and the south south states of the Niger Delta.
The Delta Governor’s aide enjoined the people to take Governor Obaseki’s reelection extremely serious as he is a trustworthy man, honest and efficient person who has delivered on his campaign promises and shall carry out more development programmes if reelected governor of Edo state.
Chief Ugedi is also a traditional title holder and holds the Bebetefewei (truth sayer) of Egbema Kingdom, assured his kinsmen in Edo that hopefully if Governor Obaseki gets reelected into office for another four years, he would focus more on developing the riverine areas of the state as it is the hope and economic power of the state.
