The current administration has identified nine government priorities for implementation during the period 2019-2023, which has been captured as priorities in the medium term plan.

The Minister of State, Budget and National Planning, Prince Clem Ikanade Agba has said.

Agba disclosed this during a webinar meeting with Nigerian’s in the Diaspora on the preparation of Medium Term National Development Plan (MTNDP) 2021-2025 and Nigeria Agenda 2050.

According to the minister, the national plan will provide a system to effectively fight corruption, improve governance and create national cohesion.

He noted that the plan was also meant to attain energy sufficiency in power and petroleum products as well as enhanced social inclusion and reduction of poverty.

Agba promised that the plan would improve access to quality education, affordable healthcare and productivity, adding that, enlargement in agriculture output for food security was also included in the plan.

Agba continued: “The plan will expand business growth, entrepreneurship and industrialization. It will also build a thriving and sustainable economy, expand transport and other infrastructure development and improve security for all.”

According to the minister, the government has built pillars to ensure a successful attainment of the plan.
