JUST IN: Delta Announces New Date For Common Entrance Examination

Delta State Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education has postponed the common entrance examination into the state Model Secondary Schools and Delta State Secondary School, Warri.
A statement by the Director/Registrar, Examinations and Standards Department in the ministry, Mrs. Oderhohwo Kehinde, said the examination earlier scheduled to hold on Saturday, October 10, 2020 will now take place on Thursday, October 15, 2020 to enable more candidates to apply.
The statement disclosed that registration fee for the examination is N2,500:00 only and registration will be done online by candidates using scratch cards obtained from Field Offices of the Chief Inspectors of Education (CIEs) and state model schools to gain access to the registration form online through the ministry’s portal after the payment of the registration fee.

Mrs. Oderhohwo stressed that the scratch cards will be used for registration as well as checking results, adding that the entrance examination is open to candidates for admission into JS 1, JS 11, SS 1 and SS 11.
She stated that it is important to note that the examination will be done once as there will not be supplementary examination as it used to be.
