Zik Prize Leadership Award: Ochor Congratulates Okowa

The recent Zik’s Leadership Centre award given to the Delta State Governor, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa, by the Public Policy Research and Analysis Centre, PPRAC, had been lauded by the Deputy Speaker, Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon Christopher Ochor Ochor.

In a statement by his Press Secretary, Mr. Emmanuel Enebeli, on Tuesday, December 8, 2020, the Deputy Speaker stated that the award had further affirmed the minds of majority of Deltans, who had publicly applauded the governor on infrastructural and human capital development of the state.

He pointed out that Governor Okowa leadership principles has been so wonderful in the management of the financial resources of the state, and had so far helped to up the standard of good governance as many had acknowledged the rapid development the state had witnessed since 2015.

“The Zik’s Leadership Centre has further affirmed the minds of majority of Deltans on your development drives, which had opened many parts of the state in terms of roads network between communities in the state, human capital development, improvement in the state security architecture, youth empowerment, sports development and women and girl child issues.”

“Since 2015, you have been prudent in the management of the state financial resources, through improvement on the revenue generation of the state, to meet up with the financial needs of the state,” he stated.
