New Delta Police CP Warns Robbers, Kidnappers, Bunkers To Hibernate Or Be Dealt With
The new Commissioner of Police (CP), Delta State, CP Muhammed Ali Ari, has warned criminals in the state to hibernate from the state or be dealt with according to the law.
He spoke exclusively with DAILY INDEPENDENT in Lagos shortly before leaving for Asaba, the state capital.
The new CP specifically warned kidnappers, armed robbers and oil thieves to turn a new leaf, urging them to surrender their illegal arms to the nearest police station.

He said: “I will not condone any form of criminality in the state. I advise the criminals, especially kidnappers, armed robbers and oil thieves who are economic saboteurs to repent and turn a new leaf or hibernate from the state.
“Otherwise, we will apply the full wrath of the law on them.”
Furthermore, he appealed to traditional rulers in the state to cooperate maximally with the police.
