Technical Colleges To Resume January 18 In Delta -Ikolo Declares

Delta State Ministry of Technical Education has announced the date for second term resumption for all Government and private Technical Colleges in the state.

According to a statement by the state Commissioner for Technical Education, Hon Mrs. Gbubemi Ikolo, the resumption of students in government and private owned Technical Colleges for second term will be Monday 18th of January, 2021.

The Delta State Commissioner for Technical Education declared that students in the boarding house are to return on Sunday 17th January 2021, while teaching and learning is to commence on Monday 18th January 2021.

She charged parents and guardians to ensure that they adhere to the resumption date.

Mrs Ikolo urged them to ensure their children and wards are well prepared for resumption.

Mrs. Gbubemi Ikolo who is also the pioneer Delta State Technical Education Commissioner, called on parents and guardians to ensure that their children and wards adhere strictly to the COVID-19 protocol by wearing their face or nose masks provided for them by the ministry.

The Commissioner charged school heads and teachers to get prepared to receive the students and commence teaching with immediate effect.
