Ethiope East Council Poll: Ogedegbe Hosts Supporters, Urges Them To Have Faith, Keep Hope Alive, Remain Faithful To PDP

Senior Special Assistant to the Delta State Governor on Peace Building, Hon Augustine Usinefe Ogedegbe, on Wednesday hosted members of his political family, Augustine Ogedegbe Political Train and his teaming supporters at his country home in Ovu, Ethiope East Local Government Area of Delta State.
According to sources at the meeting, it was a time to discuss about the recent developments concerning the Chairmanship race in Ethiope East ahead the March 6 council elections in the state.
Recall that the party in the area replaced Ogedegbe with Hon (Pharmacist) Victor Ofobrukueta to fly the party’s flag in the coming elections.
While sources in the party said Ogedegbe stepped down, our findings showed that his replacement was as a result of his dual voter’s registration status both in Okpe and Ethiope East.
So far, we have been unable to get Ogedegbe to react to the matters arising.
Comr Augustine Ogedegbe who did not show any signs of remorse at tee said meeting, urged everyone to remain steadfast in the race and keep their hope alive, as he adviced everyone to go back to their various units and ward and keep working hard for the party, PDP.
Continuing, Ogedegbe said he is a very dedicated member of the party.

Adding: “I respect and love my party; its policies and leaders and for me party is primary and supreme. I want you all to go back to your units and wards and continue to work for the progress of PDP and all her candidates across board. Do not go to war with anyone within or outside the party because at the end only God gives victory and not man. I appreciate your love and support over time and we will keep our mandate and the party’ flag flying.”
On his part, the Chairman of the party in Ethiope East, Hon Felix Ejovwoke Erhimedafe, while address the Ogedegbe Campaign Train and supporters, said Ethiope East PDP is one big family.
He said: “We should not allow our enemies to break our rank and cause disaffection among us. Let us work as a party and bring this victory home.”
