May Iyasere, A Role Model And Mother Figure To New Generation Of Women In Politics – EAC Oghenesivbe

Justice of the Peace and Executive Assistant to the Governor of Delta State on Communications, Dr Barr Fred Latimore Oghenesivbe, JP, has described the Special Adviser to the Governor on Entrepreneurship Development, Chief Barr Mrs Iyasere Mary as a consummate political leader, entrepreneur par excellence, a philanthropist, mother figure and role model to a new generation of women in politics.

He made the assertion in his goodwill message to Mrs Iyasere on the occasion of her birthday anniversary on Sunday 21st March, 2021 and made available to newsmen.

Okowa’s EAC said over the years, Iyasere had through her strength of positive character, enviable decorum and strong moral values demonstrated that being a woman politician is not a license to go gallivanting, adding that while politicking she kept the home front and excelled in her roles as prayer warrior, strong pillar of support for her husband, Dr Richard Iyasere and their lovely children.

He noted that while some persons seethe robust political terrain as a flashpoint for irresponsible and repulsive scheming, Mrs Iyasere held her head up high and exhibited strong moral standard which endeared her to the hearts of party faithful and party leaders across board.

Oghenesivbe further asserted that Iyasere is an excellent example of a successful politician and businesswoman who excelled and still making waves through hard work, dedication to assigned responsibilities and loyalty to PDP, the governor, Senator Dr Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa, while at the same time paying quality attention to her husband and immediate family.
