Ukwuani LGA Boss Inaugurates 7th Legislative Arm

The Chairman Ukwuani local government, Hon.Barr.Solomon Ajede Possible, has inaugurated the 7th Legislative Arm of the council.
The inauguration held at the Legislative Chamber of the council witnessed the election of principal officers to run the affairs of the Legislative Arm.
The Chairman observed that the legislators elected were men of high intelligence and responsibilities to bring progress and development to Ukwuani area.
Barr. Ajede further thanked the Clerk of the House, Mrs. Ogobah-Ogbudo Ufuoma for her work of experience in the conduct of the successful election into the principal office of the House while stressing the need for them to work hand in hand with the executive arm of the council, so as to move Ukwuani to an enviable height.
He added that his administration is geared towards five (5) point agenda which are security, environmental sanitation, primary health care, empowerment program for the people and infrastructural development.
The Principal Officers elected are Hon. Osaeliogo Clarus as Leader while Hon. Okonye Malabuchukwu as Deputy leader, Hon. Jimiwe Kenneth as Majority leader, Hon. Felix Osumili as Deputy Majority Leader, Hon. Nwachukwu Happy as Chief whip and Hon. Peace Anigala as Deputy chief whip.
In his acceptance speech, Hon. Osaeliogo thanked his fellow colleagues for giving him the privilege to lead the House.
He promised not to disappoint them for the confidence reposed on him.

Earlier, in her address, the Clerk of the House, Mrs. Ogobah-Ogbudo Ufuoma enjoined the executive and legislative to work in synergy in order to achieve a sustainable and people oriented program.
She appealed to the council boss to use his good office to give Ukwuani Legislative Arm a face lift.
