The Executive Chairman, Ukwuani Local Government Area, Hon. (Barr) C.S.P Ajede has inaugurated the newly appointed supervisors.

The well attended ceremony at the council Secretariat in Obiaruku held at the administrative headquarters of Ukwuani Local Government area, Delta State.

Speaking, the council boss congratulated the appointed supervisors and welcome them to the journey of peace, progress and development of the local government, while reiterating that under the ‘DO MORE AGENDA’, which is the holistic developmental framework of his administration.

Barr. Ajede, further unveiled his administrative commitment to look into the needs of the Ukwuani people as it affects youths and women empowerment, security, agriculture, digital pathways and the welfare of Ukwuani government staff which he opined are the engine room of the council.

The Chairman who is also known as the Omeifoema 1 of Ukwuani, emphasized that due processes would be followed in each office of the supervisors under his watch, adding that every supervisor should diligently carry out their duties in the various area of assignment.

“You must be ready to deliver on your mandate,” he stated.

The Executive Chairman also advised the newly sworn in supervisors to be committed to the administration’s focus, follow instructions by being active and not passive, noting that the success of this administration lies on their individual and collective genuine efforts.

However, the portfolios of the offices of the supervisors were immediately announced by the chairman in the following order- Jeffery Opone– Supervisor for Agriculture, Onyolu Richard Chukwutem— Supervisor for Works, Okolo Emeka— Supervisor for Education, Emu Ambrose– Supervisor for Finance and Monday Oluka– Supervisor for Environment.

In his acceptance speech, Mr Jeffery Opone thanked the chairman and the party, PDP for counting them worthy to serve and pledged their unalloyed support to the DO MORE AGENDA of the Ajede led administration.
