Imbibe The Spirit Of Service For Effective Service Delivery –Funkekeme, Tells Ukwuani LGA Workers

The senior policy adviser (SPA) to the governor, Rt Hon Funkekeme has enjoined Ukwuani Local Government to imbibe the spirit of service.

He said this on Wednesday ,May 8, 2024 during an official visit to Ukwuani Local Government, Obiaruku.

He said that as LGCs are partners, good service delivery shows efficiency and effectiveness that speak volume of government positive impact on the citizens (deltans) in achieving the set goals which indeed would be acceptable to the people.

He said that government was set to revamp the servicom desk officers at the council to uphold their activities in achieving the MORE agenda of the state Governor through good , urgent and acceptable service delivery.

Rt Hon Funkekeme Solomon added that service delivery is timely fair, honest, effective and transparent.

He commended Ukwuani Local Government for sanity, and frowned at most workers who embark on “school run” without returning to the office, thereby abusing such privilege.

He charged the Local Government authorities and other relevant agencies to put up measures in checking such ugly trend in the work place .

The senior policy adviser (SPA) were accompanied by Mrs Uche Onwusanya , Special adviser (SA) to the Governor on Labour Relations and Servicom and Mr Pius Mordi , Special adviser (SA) to the senior political adviser to the Governor.
