JUST IN: Unknown Gunmen Attack Ekiti Monarch

Unknown gunmen suspected to be Fulani herdsmen have attacked the Elewu of Ewu Ekiti, Oba Adetutu Ajayi.

It was gathered that the monarch was shot by suspected abductors along Isan road, few meters to Governor Kayode Fayemi’s hometown of Isan Ekiti, in Oye Local Government area of the State.

The incident occurred on Friday evening and the monarch was rushed to the Federal Medical centre, Ido-Ekiti.

This incident happened few hours after the General Manager of Igorfem Oil & Gas filling station, Igede Ekiti, Mr Itakorode Bayo was kidnapped by unknown gunmen in the same route.

Itakorode is also the General Manager of Prosperous Filling Station located at Isan Ekiti.

It was gathered that gunmen numbering eight had invaded the petrol station around 7pm on Thursday and abducted the victim.
