Prince Tsola Emiko For Coronation As New Olu Of Warri August 14
The Itsekiri Nation will on the 14th of August, 2021, crown Prince Tsola Emiko as the 21st Olu of Warri.
A statement on Wednesday signed by Chief Samuel Amatotsero for the Central Working Committee (CWC) disclosed that the Olu-designate will be coronated August 14th, 2021 at Ode-Itsekiri, the ancestral home of the Itsekiri people, adding that the commencement of final burial rite for the departed Ogiame Ikenwoli who died December 2020 will commence on the 11the of June.

“Following the CWC meeting today (Wednesday), it was announced that the 11th of June 2021 is the official date for the start of the burial of His Majesty Ogiame Ikenwoli and the 14th of August 2021 has been marked as a tentative date for the coronation ceremony of Omoba Prince Tsola Emiko”, the one paragraph statement read.
Prince Emiko who is 37 years old is the son of late Ogaime Atuwatse ll, the 19th Olu of Warri, who was succeeded by Ogiame Ikenwoli
