Arieja Congratulates Orodje Of Okpe Over Emergence As TROMPCON Chairman

Chairman of Otonyasere in Sapele Local Government Area of Delta State, Dr Austin Arieja has congratulated the Orodje of Okpe kingdom, Major General Mujakpuero on his emergence as chairman of the traditional rulers of oil mineral producing community of Nigeria, TROMPCON.

In a statement, today, Dr Austin Arieja said that
Okpe Kingdom has metamorphosed into a peaceful and investor-friendly kingdom since His Royal Majesty Orhue the Ist, Orodje of Okpe, mni, cfr, ascended the throne.

“His Majesty has worked so hard to maintain peace in the kingdom,” he added.

He continued: “As the head of culture and tradition, Umogu, has played significant role in the promotion of peace and harmony in Delta State.”

In continuation, Dr Austin Arieja said that the sacrifices of the retired Major General in ensuring peace and progress of the nation, especially his commitment at assignments,
has been outstanding.

He thanked the traditional rulers of the various oil producing states of the Niger Delta regions for reposing faith in the outstanding leadership qualities in the king, adding that it was an elevated responsibility given to a deserving Royal father.

According to him, the Orodje has the requisite experience for this new position having served in various capacities in the Nigeria Army and rising to the post of a GOC.

“He is a bridge builder, a man of peace and integrity whose leadership had been very beneficial to the kingdom and humanity.

“As a custodian of culture and tradition, the Orodje has played significant roles in the promotion of harmony, socio-cultural cooperation, communal living and peaceful co-existence among the Urhobo and other ethnic groups in the state.

“He has also made Okpe kingdom accommodative for all since he ascended the ancient throne. On behalf of my family and the people of Otonyasere, I warmly felicitate with our amiable father HRM Maj.-Gen. Felix Mujakperuo (Rtd.),MNI, CFR, Orhue I, the Orodje of Okpe Kingdom, on his emergence as TROMPCON chairman.

“I join the people of Okpe Kingdom in celebrating the new TROMPCON chairman, may God continue to bless the king with good health, wisdom and strength to continue his reign in the Kingdom,” he said.
