Ukwuani 7th Assembly Pass Vote Of Confidence On Ajede
The Leader of the House, Rt Hon Osaeliogo Clarus and the members of the Ukwuani Local Government Council 7th Assembly have passed a
vote of implicit confidence on the Executive Chairman of the council, Hon (Barr) C.S Possible Ajede for his visionary and result-oriented leadership; and for the unparalleled achievements during his 100 days in office.
While he moved the motion for the vote of implicit confidence, Hon Osumili Felix extolled Barr Ajede for his unmatched multifaceted developmental strides across the LGA since he took over the reins of power in the council even as he added that the council boss has made the honourable members proud.
Hon Felix who is also the Deputy Majority Leader of the house noted that the three (3) monumental projects executed by the chairman within his first 100 Days in office deserve commendations and encouragement to do more for the Ukwuani people.

He further enumerated some of the projects to include; the construction of culverts at Ezhionum Farm roads; modernization and reconstruction of Obi-Obeti Market to a mini ultra-modern market; reconstruction of two (2) blocks of 4 and 6 classrooms at Ethiope Primary School, Umutu; the ongoing construction of a Legislative Arm Complex and a modern Local Government Education Authority Office Complex.
The Deputy Majority Leader who is representing the Ebedei -Uno people in the 7th Assembly acknowledged that the efforts of the council Chairman in Peace-building building and in ensuring the security of lives and property in Ukwuani LGA.
The motion which was seconded by Hon Benjamin Onyekezini was unanimously adopted by the house as the members applauded Barr Ajede for his astuteness and focus in delivering on his campaign promises to the Ukwuani people.
The honourable members pledged their continued support and cooperation with the administration of Barr Ajede in order to collectively redefine local government administration in Delta State and Nigeria.
On his part, the Leader of the House, Rt Hon Clarus Osaeliogor thanked the members for their contributions and for acknowledging the good works of the Ajede-led administration even as he reaffirmed the vote of implicit confidence passed on the chairman while adding that every community/ward will be reached with the projects/programmes of the council.
