FENND To Host One Day Summit On Challenges, Future Of Niger Delta
The Forum for Ethnic Nationalities of the Niger Delta FENND, has announced a one day summit, where critical issues bothering on the region and its people are to be addressed.
The announcement of the summit, was made public via a circular sent out by the organisers, in the early hours of today, where they called on all well meaning Niger Deltans across the Nine States of the region to do well in attending the summit, as critical stakeholders from all Nationalities in the region will be analysing and disecting the various challenges facing the region, and proffering workable solutions to them.
The one day summit which is Themed: ‘NIGER DELTA-OUR CHALLENGE, OUR FUTURE’ is one that will pave a new pathway for the actualization of a well developed and structured Niger Delta region.
According to the organizers, the region has been the sole economic backbone of the Federation for many years, saying that the Niger Delta has been under perpetual marginalization, underdevelopment and total neglect by the Federal Government.

Adding that such, needs to be accorded the due courtesy it deserves.
The summit which is scheduled to hold on the 14th of August, 2021 at Esther Hall, Ayalla Hotels, Yenagoa the capital of Bayelsa State. at exactly 9am, is one that will change the entire narrative of the region.
