Bill To Establish Federal College Of Nursing, Midwifery In Warri North Passes First Reading

A Bill for an Act for the establishment of Federal College of Nursing and Midwifery to be sited at Abiugborodo, Warri North LGA sponsored by the Member Representing Warri Federal Constituency, Hon. Chief Thomas Ereyitomi, has passed first reading at the House of Representatives.

The Bill which was read for the first time at the House of reps chamber during plenary Tuesday, October 5, 2021 by the Member Representing Warri federal constituency was taken and introduced to the floor of the House for the first time by Hon. Ereyitomi, just as he appealed to his colleagues to support the bill.

Hon. Ereyitomi Deputy Chairman House Committee on Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC in his ability to attract robust development to the three Warri of Warri South , Warri North and Warri South-West LGAs that makeup the federal constituency wants the riverine areas to also access health educational facilities, training for manpower in the system and healthcare at close proximity hence his determination in sponsoring the Federal College of Nursing and Midwifery in Abiugborodo.

The Warri Federal lawmaker had earlier Monday October 4, assured the Olu of Warri Ogiame Atuwatse 111 during the Warri monarch’s visit to Koko of his speedy takeup and support of the Koko Ogheye road project at the floor of the House for urgent attention and importance as the project is dear to the king and Warri federal constituency at large.
