By Daniel Dafe
A foremost 2023 gubernatorial aspirant in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Evang Dr Austin Akpo Ofomana, has appealed to Deltans to by all means stop any aspirant for the governorship seat with past financial indictments from running.
In a press statement made available to journalists,, he added that “among the governorship aspirants any with a trace of any financial indictment should be discourage from contesting for the governorship seat of Delta State, come 2023,” saying that “behind every rumour there is an element of truth.”
The politician who opined that any last minute change will affect the PDP’s chances, said that many have called him a novice, just as he said that it will be better for the PDP to allow every aspirant go to the field and test their political strength and popularity.
He averred that Austin Akpo Ofomana is “a name well known across Delta State and beyond with the articulated slogan ‘LET SOMEBODY PRAISE GOD.”
He continued: “My name is one name that can open any political door. Please Delta Central Senatorial District leaders should think about this.”
