Delta Guber: Omoru Predicts Mass Defection From PDP To APC If DC-23 Works Against Third Force
By Daniel Dafe
A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Delta State and National Coordinator, Third Force, a pressure group determined to play key role in selecting the governorship candidate of the PDP, come 2023, has predicted mass defection from the party to the All Progressives Congress if DC-23 led by Chief Ighoyota Amori works against his group in the choice of who clinches the party’s ticket from Delta Central.
Omoru, also an aide to Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, said this via a Facebook post on Thursday.
Recall that sources said that DC-23 is working towards a David Edevbie candidate for PDP, a claim leaders of DC-23 have continually denied.
Omoru in his post said: “If DC 23 works against 3rd force 2023 in their choice of Governorship candidate, PDP should be prepared for Mass defection to APC.”

According to him, “anyone who in 1999 to 2007 was indicted in the loot of Delta can’t be governor.”
Third Force has always held that the immediate past Commissioner for Works in the state, Hon. James Augoye is the best man to take over from Governor Ifeanyi Okowa.
