BREAKING: Ethiope East Councilor Shot By Suspected Fulani Herdsmen Along Abraka-Eku Road Is Dead

The councillor representing Ward 5 in the Ethiope East Legislative Arm, Hon Jude Adjekpovu, shot by suspected Fulani herdsmen some days ago is dead.

Oasis Magazine learnt that he died in the early hours of Thursday at Warri where he was receiving treatment in an undisclosed private hospital.
Recall, the serving Councillor was shot along Eku/Abraka road by suspected herdsmen while coming back from a function.
Meanwhile, the council boss, Hon. Victor Ofobrukueta, has said that the cartel behind the upsurge in criminal activities in the area are closely under monitoring and will soon be brought to book.

In recent times, the Abraka-Eku road has become a nightmare for travelers as kidnappers and armed robbers prey on travelers at will that take the said route on almost a daily basis.
