Former Military Governor And Secretary To Udogun Okpe, Edemenaha Is Dead
A former Acting Military Administrator of Rivers State, Chief Col Charles Edemenaha (rtd) is dead.
He died at the age of 87.
Mr Kenneth Edemenaha, the senior son of the late MILAD who made this known in a statement, said his father died recently at Orerokpe, headquarters of Okpe Local Government Area of Delta State after a brief illness.
He stated that the demise of his father has thrown the Okpe kingdom where he served as secretary to the Udogun Okpe and Okpe Traditional Council of Chiefs into mourning.

According to the statement, Late Chief Col Edemenaha (rtd) served the late Okpe monarch, HRM Orhoro I and the current one, HRM Orhue I, the Orodje of the Okpe Kingdom in the same capacity as Secretary to Udogun Okpe and Okpe Traditional Council of Chiefs.
He described his late father as a pragmatic and visionary leader who served the nation and the Okpe Kingdom fatefully.
“His demise is not only a great loss to the Okpe kingdom and Delta state but to the country in general”, he added.
