Omene Keeps Silent, Says Lawyers Will React, As Mosogar Council Of Chiefs Suspends Him

President General, Urhobo Progress Union (UPU), Chief Joe Omene, has kept mum over his suspension by Mosogar council of chiefs.
A statement on Wednesday by the Ugo/Unugbrogodo of Mosogar Kingdom, Chief Paule Ojarikhre, said “Chief Joe Omene chair is thereby taken outside for ten years.”
According to.him, “it was agreed by all the chiefs that Chief Joe Omene be suspended.”
With these development, Chief Joe Omene can no longer function as a chief in Mosogar for the next ten years, except it is reviewed by the house.

The reason for the suspension is not unconnected with the alleged irregularities/disregard for the kingdom norms.
When contacted, Chief Omene declined making any comments, saying his lawyers will react.
“Let them wait for my reaction,” he added.
