BREAKING: Kidnapped Abraka Cleric, Prophet Enejeta Regains Freedom

Kidnappers have released the General Overseer of Faith Fasting and Prayer Ministry in Abraka, Ethiope East Local Government Area of Delta State, Prophet Jay Jay Enejeta.
The cleric was kidnapped on Thursday night while returning home after a church programme. His wife, Pastor Ruth was shot dead during the kidnap operation.
Security sources said he was released on Saturday between 6 and 7p.m. at Samagidi community.
According to our sources, the kidnappers released him after they received the sum of Ten Million Naira as ransom. Initially, they demanded for Twenty Million Naira, but pressure from security operatives and a combined team of vigilante, hunters and members of the Anti-cult group as they were closing in on them pressured the criminals to accept the Ten Million Naira that was available.
Oasis Magazine was reliably informed that there was an exchange of gunfire between the kidnappers (said to be Fulani herdsmen) and hunters.

At the time of filing thus report, Enejeta was hospitalized at an undisclosed hospital in Eku where he is receiving medical attention.
Some of his members who spoke to Oasis Magazine were full of praises to God for sparing the life of their spiritual leader who was hit by a bullet on his hand.
Recall that his late wife was hit by bullets on the head and neck which made her survival impossible.
When contacted, the police spokesman in the state, DSP Bright Edafe, confirmed the pastor’s release from the kidnapper’s den.
