Delta 2023: DC-23 Screened Out The Two Most Credible Aspirants, Augoye, Aguariavwodo — Okowa Aide Laments

By Daniel Dafe
Executive Assistant to Governor Ifeanyi Okowa on Community Development, Chief David Omoru, has described the final three-man list released by DC-23 as those that scaled through the screening process for the guber race as a sham, adding that it did not meet expectations.
Recall that on Sunday, DC-23 announced that Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, Chief David Edevbie and Chief Kenneth Gbagi passed the screening process.
In a statement made, by Omoru, who is also the National Coordinator of 3rd Force, he said: “I am ashamed of Chief Ighoyota Amori ‘s DC 23,” adding “they further screened out two most credible aspirants, Chief James Augoye and Sen. Emmanuel Aguariavwodo.”

According to him, those that scaled through “are prospectives of the ICPC, EFCC, DSS.”
“We need a man of credibility, clean financial records and moral standing to rule the state. We are going to investigate aspirants’ 22 years records in Delta State. No one can take Delta for granted anymore,” he added.
