It’s Official! Exam Malpractice: JUPEB Absolves DELSU, Releases Results

The Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board (JUPEB) has cleared the Delta State University (DELSU), Abraka of involvement in malpractice.

This was disclosed in an official statement on Wednesday signed by the institution’s Registrar, Mrs. R.U. Ufiofio.

According to Mrs. Ufiofio, JUPEB has absolved the institution of allegation of examination malpractice after due investigation, saying that “the allegation was found to be untrue and the examination body (JUPEB) has not only cleared the university of examination malpractice, but also announced that DELSU remains an examination centre.”

She added: “The 2021 JUPEB result for DELSU center has been released and the admission of the prospective candidates into DELSU is already being processed. The present set of JUPEB candidates is also in session, and are currently being registered for 2022 JUPEB Examination.”

Continuing, she restated the management’s position of zero tolerance for examination misconduct in all its ramifications.”

Recall that JUPEB had delisted DELSU from being an affiliate member and also cancelled the 2021 preliminary examinations held in the school over alleged examination malpractices.
