Police Raid Hotel In Ughelli Where Underage Girls Are Trafficked, Used As Sex Slaves, Rescue 5

The Delta Police Command has said that a total of five underage girls used as sex slaves have been rescued after a raid on Fagoma Hotel located at Aragba near Otokutu, Ughelli South LGA of Delta State.
Speaking to journalists in Asaba on Tuesday, the Commissioner of Police in the state, CP. Ari Mohammed Ali, who disclosed this, said that on the 15th of April, 2022, the police after receiving the disturbing information, at about 11.30 p.m raided the said hotel where they learnt was used as a center where underage children are trafficked and used as sex slaves.
He gave the names of the underage girls rescued during the raid on the brothel as Happiness Johnson (13yrs),.Esther Godspower (21yrs), Angel John (22yrs), Miracle Bishop (19yrs) and Happiness Isreal (19yrs).

Investigations revealed that one Joy (surname unknown) now at large trafficked the underage girls from Rivers State took them to Patani where they were forced into taking an oath before they were brought to Otu-Jeremi and harbored by one Edwin Etareri the owner of the said brothel and his wife, Mrs Grace Etariri currently in custody.
CP Ali said ten male suspects and ten female suspected prostitutes were also arrested during the raid, saying that investigation is ongoing.
