By Balogun Mabamije
Management of the Afiesere Vocational Education Training Centre in Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State has affirmed the readiness to offer admission to youths of the area and others interested in learning vocations of their choice.
The Administrator of the centre, Lizzy Ajobo, stated this to newsmen at the centre in the Afiesere Community.
She disclosed that the first stream would be completed by the end of June, 2022.
Ajobo said it was a rear opportunity to have a vocation that would showcase what one could do effectively as an individual for a leaving, describing it as an opportunity to be self-employed, just as she differentiated it from obtaining a certificate that would make one a job seeker.
She said admission was open for the next stream which would commence from July, 2022 with different vocations, such as Catering, Tailoring, Hairdressing, ITT and Electrical.
