Delta At 31: It Could Have Been Better — SDP

The Social Democratic Party in Delta State has felicitated with Deltans on the 31st anniversary of the state’s creation from the then Bendel State.
Speaking to journalists on Monday, State Chairman of the party, Amb. Oke Idawene JP, said that although the party was thankful to God for keeping the state going, things ought to be better.
He said: “It coud have been better, but we thank GOD for life. We appreciate GOD for taking us this far.”
According to him, the state deserves better leaders, saying: “We are getting ready to elect better leaders to consolidate on democratic dividends.”
He continued: “SDP will make the difference by His grace.
“We are poised to reposition Delta State.”
He called on Deltans from all around the world to join those resident in the oil rich state to heed this clarion call to elect the SDP for the betterment of the state.
