Flood: Okowa Directs Aides To Partner Council Chairmen To Assist Victims

Governor of Delta State, Sen. Ifeanyi Okowa, has directed political aides from flood impacted communties in thr state to partner with council chairmen to give reliefs to victims.
This was contained in an official memo dated 13th of October, 2022 and signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Patrick Ukah.

According to the memo, the “collaboration should include helping to supervise the operation of IDP camps already created in those Local Government Areas.”
He called on the political appointees “to go to their communities and kickstart these processes immediately.”
