2023: 11 Commissioners Dump PDP For APC In Sokoto Ahead Of Tinubu Campaign Rally
Eleven commissioners in Sokoto State have defected from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
The news came after the state’s Deputy Governor, Manir Muhammad Dan Iya, announced his resignation from the main opposition party.

Muhammad made the revelation in a letter to the PDP Ward Chairman of the Kware Ward in the State’s Kware Local Government Area.

The news of the defection broke just hours before the ruling party’s presidential campaign rally in Sokoto.
President Muhammadu Buhari is expected to officially welcome the defectors into the APC during the rally.
