Delta: Bridge Radio GM Escapes Assassination Attempt
The newly elevated General Manager (GM) of a leading radio station in Asaba, the Delta State capital, Hon. Gospel Ifechikwu Amaliamifeobu, has escaped untimely death in the hands of men of the underworld.
A post on his Facebook page, the seasoned journalist cum Creative Director, Leaptv, an online television, making waves revealed that the hoodlums accosted his official car and opened fire on him.

According to him, the incident occured on the eve of Sunday February 26 2023, while on the expressway from the newly commissioned flyover in Oshimili South Local Government Area of the State.

Assassination attempt earlier this evening on my life, immediately after the koka Flyover, in front of Oshimii South Council Secretariat, Asaba.
They overtook me from the right hand side and asked me to pull over, before I could say a thing, one has jumped down from the vehicle and opened fire on my windscreen, back tyre and drove off.
They were in SF uniform, fully masked in a black Innoson truck.
All I wanted is a better society for you and me, make them responsive to their responsibilities, through my reportage.

I am fine, there’s no cause for alarm!
