UPDATED: South West Labour Party Exco Collapses Structure Into APC, Declares Support For Tinubu
The South West Agenda for Tinubu 2023, SWAGA, today received the Labour Party Structure across the Southwest geopolitical zone into the APC in Akure, the Ondo State capital.
The Southwest Chairman of the Labour Party, Hon. Banji Omotosho led the Chairmen and other leaders of the L.P across the Six South Western States into the APC amidst funfair and warm reception.
While collapsing the L.P structure into the APC, Hon. Banji Omotosho emphasized the need to vote Bola Ahmed Tinubu at this critical time in the history of Nigeria because only him possessed the required brilliance, antecedents, connection, passion, action and mental capacity to bring about the golden age of Nigeria. ” Only Tinubu has all it takes to bring about the Nigeria of our dream. I thank God that it isn’t too late for me and the teaming LP members across South West to discover this. I want to stand on this conviction to declare our official defection through SWAGA to the APC today, here in Akure, to support and elect Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the President of Nigeria, come 25th February, 2023.

Present at the event to receive the L.P structure were the South West Chairman and Secretary of PCC for Tinubu/Shettima, Sen. Dayo Adeyeye and Hon. Ifedayo Abegunde, Abena. Also present at the reception event were Hon. Oye Ojo, Hon. Akin Adeniyi, Hon. Gani Omaluka, among others.
Saluting their right decision as a round peg in a round hole, Sen. Dayo Adeyeye assured the L.P members that Tinubu would bring the needed succour to Nigerians if elected; beating his chest on the capacity of Tinubu to deliver on regular power, economic development, student loan, Agricultural revolution, technological development and adequate health service delivery among others.
The newly harvested L.P chieftains tore and dropped their L.P membership cards, pledged their loyalty to the APC and received the *BROOM.*
