British Woman Dies While Undergoing Gastric Band Surgery In Turkey

A 28-year-old British woman, Shannon Bowe, has died while undergoing gastric band surgery in the middle eastern country of Turkey, Daily Mail reports.

Shannon passed away during the weight loss procedure which involves placing a band around the stomach to decrease food consumption.

Bowes’ loved ones say they are devastated by her death, with many posting picture tributes to her on social media.

The young lady’s boyfriend, Ross Stirling, leading the heartfelt tributes said, “Sleep tight my angel, love you forever and always.”
