Delta Vocational Education Center Calls For Fresh Intakes, Underscores Importance

The Administrator of Afiesere Vocational Education Center, Lizzy Ajobor has disclosed that the center was ready to offer admission to youth who have interest to acquare vocational education in the locality.
Ajobor made the disclosure today Wednesday 21, June 2023 while speaking with newsmen in her office at the school premises.

She said the Afiesere Vocational Education Center had what it takes to train youth in different vocation such as computer, Makeup and makeover, Fashion and Design, Tilling and Electrical Installation as well as others.
Ajobor said such training could readily secure job for the youth and erode idleness and criminality from the society, just as she added that some of the youth who engaged in criminal activities did so because of lack of good source of income.
She said the touch that the nation needed in her educational transformation was vocational training, which could lift the country from underdevelopment to industrialized nation.
She urged parents in Ughelli and environs to take advantage of the center located in the area to give their children vocational education.
She said the vocational education center was established by the Delta State government to assist our youth in becoming self employed, just as she added that admission form was available in the school at the cost of 1,000 only, while academic calendar would commence July 1, 2023.
