Benue Assembly Receives Commissioners List For Screening

The speaker of the Benue State House of Assembly Hon. Aondona Dajoh has confirmed that the executive Governor of Benue state, Rev. Fr. Dr. Hyacinth Alia has forwarded a list of 14 commissioner nominees to the Assembly for screening and confirmation

Reading the letter during plenary, the speaker of the Benue state House of Assembly, said he received a letter from the governor for the confirmation of the nominees in line with sections 192 (6) (a) of the 1999 Nigerian Constitution (amended).

However, the speaker declined to read out the names of those who made the commissioner’s list, saying it will be announced on another date.
